SolarScope helps you compare solar quotations. This page summarises how we handle personal and project data. It is not legal advice.

What we collect

• Account details (email, optional name and phone).
• Project inputs you enter (location, bill figures, roof details, notes).
• Quotation files you upload and structured data we extract from them.
• Payment metadata from Razorpay (order/payment ids, plan, amount) — card details stay with Razorpay.
• Ask AI questions and answers tied to your projects.

How we use it

• To run extraction, comparison, verification and recommendations.
• To enforce plan limits and unlock paid features after checkout.
• To send transactional email (welcome, payment confirmation, quote-request acknowledgement) via Resend when configured.
• To route Concierge quote requests to our ops team (and, when you ask, to verified installers).

Sharing

Installers do not see your uploaded PDFs unless you explicitly request a quote and share contact details. We use subprocessors for hosting (Supabase), AI processing (Gemini / Lovable gateway), transactional email (Resend), ops webhooks when configured, and Razorpay for payments.

Retention & control

You can delete projects and quotations from the app. Deleting a project removes associated quotations, analyses and Ask AI history for that project. Contact us via your account email if you need account deletion help.
